Ukrainian consortium members met for the first offline workshop during the COVID-19 pandemic. Workshop was held at UCU from 18 till 20 October 2021 in a mixed format (offline and online), which allowed EU project partners and a considerable part of the Ukrainian team members, including master’s students, to join this event.
The primary task was to deliver a training in adversarial learning against cognitive hacking. Staff from the University of Jyväskylä participated in the Workshop online and conducted this training. In total, 30 representatives of Ukrainian academic staff and master’s students participated in this training offline and online.
The next day, UA partners analyzed approaches to the development of new adversarial methodologies to train proactive defense skills and approved the structure of the manual on the features of this methodology and its implementation in Ukrainian partner universities’ study programs.
The joint work focused on the internal dissemination of findings obtained from the course “Changing Security and Hybrid Threats,” provided by the Jyväskylä University Summer School 16- 20 August 2021 (https://warn-erasmus.eu/news/changing-security-and-hybrid-threats-in-the-30th-jyvaskyla-summer-school/). Additionally, participants addressed current issues regarding updating the profiles of master’s programs and developing a common course “Hybrid Threats and Comprehensive Security”.
