Workshop On The Training Methodologies Developed Within Erasmus+ Projects
Sep 18, 2023

On September 15, 2023, representatives of the project teams from NURE, DUIT, NAMSCA and DPSU together with colleagues from WARN – environment – HEI “International Scientific and Technical University named after Ac. Yuriy Bugaya” held the Workshop “Co-evolution “Business-University”: New Realities – New Practices” disseminating the results of 3 Erasmus+ projects UniCities, WARN and JoInME.

The national project coordinator, associate professor of NURE Svitlana Hryshko presented the methodological results of the WARN project. She demonstrated practices for effective training to counter hybrid threats, which are designed to train specialists (graduates of 11 master’s programs of the project from 7 different fields) who are able to effectively perform their professional duties in conditions of dramatic changes in the security situation caused by unpredictable challenges such as pandemics or wars .

An event was held in Kyiv that allowed representatives of the academic society and business from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Donetsk region to come together for a project workshop.

During Workshop teachers were training with several short cases aimed at countering hybrid threats through adversarial learning. This training caused live discussion on practices can be used within new (un)security reality and hybrid mode of teaching. The new practices were positively approved for implementation in teaching practices by representatives of the academic auditorium. The anonymous feedback of participants justifies these conclusions.

The specially invited speaker, Dr. Svitlana Shytikova, Coordinator of the EU project “National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine”, presented the new opportunities of the Erasmus+ program and the significant importance of project synergy and team interaction to strengthen the impact of projects at different levels, which was clearly demonstrated by the teams of three projects who combined experience, efforts and results in the newest methodological framework.

Deep gratitude to colleagues – partners from WARN – environment – HEI “Academician Yuriy International Scientific and Technical University”, the rector of the university, Professor Veronika Khudoley, and the First vice-rector, Professor Oksana Karpenko, for their inspiring and powerful contribution to the intellectual synergistic result of the jointly organized workshop and their invaluable help in attracting a wide academic audience.
