Participation In The Webinar “European Integration: Ensuring Sustainable Development Of Higher Education And Society In Ukraine”

The WARN project results “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats” (#610133-EPP-1-2019-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) was presented in the webinar “European integration: ensuring sustainable development of higher education and society in Ukraine”, which took place on July 25, 2023. The webinar was organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine as a monitoring cluster event embracing projects within the cluster of digitization and innovations for social development.

The purpose of the event is to share leading experience and to monitor the project results of towards developing the potential of higher education, ensuring synergy between projects operating in a certain cluster, promoting the thematic priorities of the EU Erasmus+ Program, in particular quality, digitalization and inclusion.

About 70 participants attended the event, moderated by Zhanna Talanova, a Higher Education Reform expert, representative of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine. Among the participants are Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Higher Education Reform expert; Svitlana Shitikova, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine; Iryna Zolotaryova, Higher Education Reform expert, Member of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education, Professor of the Department of Information Systems, Semyon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics; Iryna Sikorska, Higher Education Reform expert, head of the Center for International Education, Mariupol State University.

The event became a platform for demonstration and discussion of the results of 8 CBHE projects of the EU Erasmus+ Program. The WARN project “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats” was presented by Svitlana Hryshko, the national coordinator, associate professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Economic Security Management of NURE. She shared the experience of adapting project work to the increased turbulence of the external environment, caused first by the covid pandemic, and then by the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. Current results obtained by the project team were presented. Emphasis was placed on those spinoff results that allowed the team to pass through the turbulence zone, restructure the work, and complete the project tasks.
