The project team started the new academic year with academic events which promotes development of the academic WARN environment.

NUOA held the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Education and Science in the Field of National Security: Problems and Priorities of Development” on September 18, 2020. (https://www.facebook.com/FakultetPIM/posts/3215965775196065).

The conference united together experts and students within discussing the practical, scientific and educational aspects of national security challenges in the context of Russia’s hybrid war against Ukraine and EU member states, as well as the process of the hybrid peace on Donbass and Russia’s information war against Ukraine and some EU countries and tools of its neutralization.

On 25 of September the project team gathered project participants and other academicians of the universities consortium – members for Workshop “Facilitating building an open secure and sustainable society in the context of hybrid threats basing on the approaches of the Baltic region” following online security courses at the University of Tartu, Estonia. The main presentation on the values of society within which security is built, practical developments and approaches to building a sustainable and secure society was made by Ph.D. Associate Professor Victoria Kontsur (DPSU) using materials provided by the Estonian partner.
