Project Article in the February Brief of the National Security Institute of Portugal

In the published February brief of the National Defence Institute of Portugal, experts highlight three years of Russia’s war in Ukraine and analyze its dynamics and consequences for Europe. Among the authors are Ukrainian diplomat and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Portugal, Maryna Mykhailenko; renowned researcher at the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House, Orysia Lutsevych; as well as representatives of the WARN network, including Portuguese Air Force Colonel and researcher at the National Security Institute, António Eugénio; Professor of International Relations at the University of Coimbra, Maria Raquel Freire; and Associate Professor of the Artificial Intelligence Department at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Mariia Golovianko.

In her publication “War, Technology and Survival: Ukraine’s Academic Response to Hybrid Threats”, Mariia Golovianko emphasizes the importance of technology and innovative solutions in security, as well as the responsibility of all stakeholders—from governments to the academic community.
