Unknown unknowns Невідомі невідомі (ua)

refer to modes of hybrid attack that we are not even aware of its nature, our vulnerability to it, or even of our own ignorance to the threat (by contrast " Known Unknowns"). This type of information is not amenable to a Monitoring methodology built upon ‘perceiving what we expect to perceive’ via either pattern recognition or the use of Indicator lists. This is because the analyst has never seen this pattern before, and cannot be equipped with an indicator list for a type of attack that has never occurred or even been imagined before.
