Participation in the development of the Community Culture Development Strategy

Congratulations to our colleagues – the Department of Art Management and Event Technology of the National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts (NAMSCA) under the leadership of Professor Olga Kopiievska joined the development of the Strategy for cultural development of Vinnytsia within the EU4Culture project which is implemented by the Goethe Institute.

Vinnytsia became a winner among the three leaders of the competition and received 30 thousand euros for developing the Strategy which will be presented in the spring of 2022 and in case of victory will receive 300 thousand euros for the implementation of the developed Strategy. As the main priorities the Strategy envisages the following: culture and urban planning, modern cultural infrastructure, cultural diversity, cultural education, creativity, and art. WARN experts added a security focus to the priority of education and culture emphasizing the destructive effect of hybrid attacks and overcoming their consequences including cultural trauma. Participation in such a project provides rich opportunities to implement the WARN project results in practice outside the academic environment. The synergy of the two projects will increase the needs for the training in countering hybrid threats in the field of culture and will raise awareness of the wide society on security challenges. Such cooperation will be a powerful contribution to the sustainability of project results. So there is responsible but very interesting and inspiring work ahead!
