Serhii, NURE, master's programme "Artificial Intelligence Systems"
Studying "Hybrid Threads and Artificial Intelligence" was very helpful. I learned about threats affecting AI systems, such as data poisoning and adversarial attacks. Practical exercises with Jupyter Notebook were valuable for building secure AI systems, detecting misinformation and fakes.
Oleksandra, NURE, course Hybrid Threads and Artificial Intelligence, master's programme "Artificial Intelligence Systems"
As a modern Ukrainian student, I want my university to provide me not only with the knowledge I might need in my profession, but also with one that will help me during my life. The course of “Hybrid threats…” does this brilliantly. Unfortunately, I can’t say that before the Russian invasion into my country I would understand this course properly, but having months of living during the war experience, I now can clearly see that such subjects as “Hybrid threats…” are irreplaceable and greatly important in every person’s education and life overall. This course helps to see farther than what is on the surface — starting with news and politics and ending with preparing a person to be much more insightful in every aspect of their life. This course also teaches its students how to filter information, detect fakes and harmful propaganda, read between the lines, which are vital skills in our age of technology and constant information updates.
Overall, I personally think that in future this subject should be studied not only in Master degree programs, but also as a mandatory subject in middle and high schools with the same game-like approach. Studying the value of the filtered information, the dangers of propaganda and fake or manipulative Internet and TV content, the skill of being able to look farther into things will be essential in every life so it can be better to start early with that. Not all at once, of course, but to introduce children gradually to this life-changing concepts. I believe, it’s every person’s right to be taught new important life skills as they become more and more needed in our society and this course does this greatly.
I am very grateful to “Hybrid threats…” course for showing me even more of how the world works on real examples, for preparing me to be a smarter person and a more insightful citizen. And I wish this course and its creators immense luck and support in its progress and expansion.
Diana Belous, NAMSCA, Course "Cultural Practices as a Tool for Countering Hybrid Threats in the Real and Virtual Environment""
While studying at the NAMSCA, I studied the surprisingly relevant and necessary discipline "Cultural Practices as a Tool for Countering Hybrid Threats in the Real and Virtual Environment". In the context of the war with russia, the needs to increase knowledge about hybrid threats and methods for counteraction them are very important. For me as a cultural worker, countering these threats with the help of modern cultural practices is an urgent need. Due to this course, I significantly replenished my vocabulary with new terms, concepts and categories, strengthened theoretical knowledge about cultural practices, hybrid threats and their interdisciplinary theoretical and practical connections. I also studied value orientations and, using an axiological approach, clarified their roles and significance in cultural transformations. Surprisingly relevant today is knowledge about cultural trauma, cultural shock and cultural genocide. In addition to a solid theoretical base, I received a practical toolkit for identifying cultural trauma and shock and recommendations for strategies for overcoming them. During practical and seminar classes, I performed important, diverse, and interesting tasks designed to reinforce the theoretical material with new practical skills. I think the knowledge gained while studying this discipline will be useful in my professional activities and will help to effectively counteract the multitude of hybrid threats in our cruel present. The war once again emphasized the importance of practical skills in this discipline, so I consider its study to be an appropriate part of my master's degree. I would like to thank everyone who participated in the creation of the curriculum "Cultural Practices as a Tool for Countering Hybrid Threats in the Real and Virtual Environment" and the outstanding professional teacher, Professor Kopiievska O. R.
Anton Kitov, NURE, master's programme "Artificial Intelligence Systems"
I support developing and teaching the course "Hybrid Threads and Artificial Intelligence" in the master's programme. The theoretical basis is relevant and there are resources for independent search. Science is dynamic and allows you to demonstrate analytical abilities during the work, especially in modern conditions and conflicts we deal with information technologies, so it is necessary to have an idea of search, containment and operational response to events using various tools. I also express my gratitude to the teacher Golovianko Mariia Valentynivna for lecturing the course.
Serhii Zhytnil, ІInstitute of Public Administration, Karazin University, Master's Degree in "Public Management and Administration within the Hybrid Threats"
The course "Hybrid Threats and Comprehensive Security" is relevant in essence and interesting in content. The issues raised addressed modern challenges, threats and dangers. The presented material provides a comprehensive understanding of the types of threats, methods of their detection, methods of analysis. It provides examples of countermeasures, ways to solve problems and overcome crises as components of comprehensive security.
Serhii К., NURE, course Hybrid threats and Artificial Intelligence, master's programme "Artificial Intelligence Systems"
I consider the course necessary and relevant for study. The course itself provides a broader and applied understanding of the concept of hybrid threats with specific examples of today, helps to look at risks from other sides. The course also helps to understand the resulting consequences of a particular hybrid aggression, and, most importantly, learn how to counteract it, because the fight against hybrid threats begins with the awareness of each of us.
Oleksandra Dushchenko, NAMSCA, "Cultural Practices as a Tool for Countering Hybrid Threats in the Real and Virtual Environment"
A very interesting, modern and useful course. In particular, we analyzed the topics as follows:
- Cultural practices and hybrid threats.
- Values, their classification and value as a type of cultural activity to counter hybrid threats.
The practical shootings and discussions of the topics were extremely interesting: ---- Cultural trauma, cultural shock and strategies for overcoming them. Cultural genocide and manipulative practices of cultural genocide in the real and virtual environment.
It is important for a modern manager in the field of culture to have knowledge of identifying, creating and implementing cultural practices to overcome hybrid threats and to be able to put them into practice. It was also interesting to master the skills of using methods and techniques for creating cultural practices, the tasks of which are to overcome hybrid threats.
Thank you very much to our professor Olga Rafailivna Kopiievska for this study programme and course.
Ksenniia, NAMSCA, course "Political Extremism", master's programme "Cross-Cultural Management"

This is an extremely relevant topic.... especially since cultural institutions are in dire need of development in this direction! Thank you))) It may be necessary to introduce short-term courses for heads of cultural institutions of territorial communities! The topic is very relevant and moderated at the highest level! Let's introduce it at the lowest levels))))
Liliia Honcharuk, NAMSCA, course "Cultural Practices as a Tool for Countering Hybrid Threats in the Real and Virtual Environment"
The course is an interesting and relevant topic that helps students understand how cultural values and practices can be used to protect society from hybrid threats.
The course provides an opportunity to delve into the complex aspects of the interaction between culture and modern hybrid threats, exploring a variety of approaches and strategies that can be used to counter these threats. By studying real and virtual scenarios, we gained practical skills and knowledge that will help us recognize, analyze and effectively respond to potential threats.
Along with this, we got acquainted with the best examples of using cultural practices and resources of cultural institutions to counteract external influences on the cultural component of Ukrainian society.
We also improved our own skills in critical thinking, intercultural communication and the use of cultural markers to recognize potential threats.
Overall, the course provides an opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in countering hybrid threats, which is extremely important in the modern world.
Lidiia Haluzynska, NAMSCA, Course "Hybrid (asymmetric) Counteraction in the Information, Cultural and Cognitive Space"
This course was a fascinating and very useful experience for me. The teacher Tetiana Reva presented the material with a deep understanding of the subject and attracted the attention of students to the problems facing the modern educational process.
The course was structured logically and systematically, which allowed us to understand the complex aspects of hybrid learning.
I especially liked that the teacher actively used interactive teaching methods, such as discussions, group tasks and practical exercises. This allowed us to better absorb the material and share our own thoughts and experiences.
The practical exercises were extremely useful, helping to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. This allowed me not only to obtain a theoretical basis, but also to enrich my skills in real situations.
Overall, the course "Hybrid (asymmetric) opposition in the information-cultural and cognitive space" by Tetyana Reva turned out to be very fruitful and informative. I gained many new ideas and tools that I will need in my further educational and professional activities.
Oleksandra Dushchenko, NAMSCA, Course "Hybrid (asymmetric) Counteraction in the Information, Cultural and Cognitive Space"
I thank the teacher Reva Tetiana Sergiivna for this extremely interesting, modern, relevant course. In particular, we studied the main historical stages of the development of the information and psychological factor of asymmetric confrontation. We made a retrospective analysis of the development of information and psychological confrontation. We also studied modern technologies of destructive influence on the socio-cultural sphere of society. The topic of countering threats to the information and cultural sphere during the russian-Ukrainian war is extremely relevant and useful.
I consider this subject to be absolutely important, relevant and one that should be taught to current applicants.
